Carrigmore is beside Saggart, the heritage village, which is the gateway to Dublin and the Wicklow mountains and is a great sporting centre. It has an intimate feel to it with the local village shops, pubs, post office and schools. For the racing enthusiast this area is indeed a mecca, with an abundance of facilities, clubs and courses within easy reach including Punchestown, Naas and The Curragh.
Citywest Hotel and Country Club with it's two pay-to-play superb golf courses is extremely popular, incorporating an extensive restaurant and leisure facilities- a decided advantage for residents in this location.
The private Citywest express bus and Dublin's light rail system, Luas, will link Citywest with the city centre. The immediate area is served by both the 69 and 69x bus routes and a Park & Ride facility is planned for Tallaght Town Centre. The recently opened Brown Barn's restaurant and bars has proved to be very popular and land around it has been earmarked by the developers for further retail services
